We are sad to say goodbye to all of the friends that we’ve made in the tasting room over the last few years, but the time has come to close the doors. We have made the difficult decision to close the tasting room. It is sad, but the best choice for our family. 2/21 will be our last day open to the public.

All parties and rentals that are currently booked are good to go. Nothing needs to change for you.

We love the Fall in East Texas! Everyone wants to pretend like we have nice weather and color on the trees, so we collectively forget that it is still 100 degrees everyday! We kicked off October with a fabulous Nerf Wars Birthday party followed by 2 upcoming festivals. Come see us on Oct. 18 in Madisonville at the Mushroom Festival and Oct. 25 at Mimosa Lane in Dayton TX. Call Jennifer for private event rentals for holiday parties. Most of October is booked, but some dates remain for November & December.

We are happy to be back at it this fall!  The tasting room is open again for tastings, events and bottle sales.  Michael and Jennifer will be working, so make sure to come see them!

We had to say goodbye to the longhorns.  It was sad, but they are at a great new home.

We are now renting the tiny house on AirBnB. Please pass this along to any friends/family you have coming in for a visit. Sleeps 6 adults and has a large fenced in back yard.

I am playing a bit of catch up here! This post should bring us up to date, July 2025. Spring was great, with the exception of saying goodbye to Katie. We sponsored/coached more baseball, soccer and basketball. I have to mention it because we want to show off our boys! We donated to some great local organizations such as SAAFE House and The Polk County Recycling & Beautification Center. One of the best parts of becoming a small business owner is getting to help out all the wonderful people and organizations that are part of this community. We had some fun pairings and tastings in the tasting room and introduced some new wines! We started our painting classes back up with Sofia Martin/Ainsworth. She will be conducting one a month or so throughout the fall, so look out for those posts.

We will be closed through the rest of the summer to spend time with the boys and get ready for the upcoming school year. We will see you again in the fall. The tasting room will open back up on August 30th, 2025. We will still be holding painting classes and booking private parties. Call for reservations: 9362399644

We love hosting your special events! Starting summer of 2025 we will be adding some additional options for private events and weddings. We are always happy to discuss particulars and find the best packages for each group. We will be adding the rentals to the packages as well starting summer at a discounted rate.

I guess 2024 got away from us, as I realize that I did not post one time during the entire year! I am going to sum up all of the best parts in 300 words or less. We were so lucky to add Katie to our tasting room team. She was (I say was because she left us in May 2025) such a big help and allowed us to have a lot more family time. Michael and I largely stepped away from the business for most of the year. While spending time with family, coaching baseball & soccer, and adventuring was great we certainly missed seeing your faces! Starting Fall of 2025, we will be back in the tasting room on Saturdays and Sundays. Here are a few photos to sum up the year!

We are so happy to announce that starting January 25, 2023 we are extending our tasting room hours. We will now be open Wednesday – Sunday 12-7pm. On weekdays you will be welcomed by our new wine server, Dixie! Make sure to say hello!! This is an exciting step to grow our business.

When the grapes were on the vine we wanted this dry weather, but come on now!! We need some rain in East Texas. The grass is dead and the cows are sure sad about it! We have had an eventful start to this Fall season. It started with a surprise when we received our copy of the Eastex Connection. Then some special Avengers stopping by to celebrate our boys! Two new longhorn babies also joined the herd. Pray for rain! We all need it.

This summer has been tough for everything, except for the vines! This dry weather is ideal for growing grapes. The lack of rain reduced the disease pressure and allowed for a very controlled amount of water to reach the berries. We were able to keep the fruit on the vines longer, creating a higher concentration of sugars. That means deeper flavors, more body and higher alcohol content. We harvested about 2250 lbs. at a 26 brix. Very exciting and going to be the BEST wine!

Thank you to all the volunteers that braved the 100 degree weather, wasps and ants, and a very early morning! Without you we would probably still be picking!
