Love is in the air at Tempe Creek Vineyard…Love for the season that is! As we approach Spring we have been getting down to business in the Vineyard. Last weekend we pruned the vines and cut almost 200 clippings for propagation. We also installed all the posts for the next seven rows (300 vines) going in March 11-13.

New Year’s News – January 2019
We are well on our way to opening day! The outside of the tasting room is done and plumbing is installed. We are currently working on finishing up the inside of the tasting room and giving everything a paint job. We have started getting quite a few inquiries about the winery opening and venue rentals, which warms our heart! Keep checking back for an official opening date in March and feel free to email any questions.
Holiday Tidings – December 2018
Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season! We have been working hard on getting the tasting room ready and preparing for the new vines. Opening day is getting closer and closer. From our family to yours Happy New Year!!

Grapes of Frost
Well the grapes have turned from green and lush to brown and dreary overnight. The seasons are changing! Be on the lookout for our soft opening party early 2019 and our planting party in March.
Thankful in November 2018
We are thankful to have received our winery permit from TABC this month! We are even closer to opening and providing Livingston and East Texas with all their TX wines. Remember to buy local and support small businesses this holiday season. Small businesses are the bread and butter of the American Dream. It’s easy to succumb to the ease of Amazon, but take the extra time to share an experience with your loved ones, explore our great state and support the little guys. There are lots of TX vineyards and wineries around the state for you to try! Map of TX wineries
From our family to yours have a great Thanksgiving!
Photo Shoots – October 2018
We had some family photos taken at the pond last week and I wanted to share for two reasons. One is to highlight just one of many places on the farm that are beautiful backdrops for wedding or family photos. The second is just to show off our handsome little guy! The floating dock on our pond is just one of our photo or wedding ceremony options.
October is for the baby – 2018
On September 22 we welcomed baby Maximiliano into our family. It has been magical! He loves to walk around the farm and take it all in. More to come on farm progress when we are getting more than two hours sleep per night.
Back to School – September 2018
We are back to work (the day job kind) and progress has slowed some, but don’t worry we are still building. The frame is up on the tasting room and the soil is getting prepped for our new vines coming in March.

Summer Days – August 2018
Everything is green and blooming here at the farm. The cows spend their days lazing under the tree chewing their cud. The dogs go swimming in the creek every chance they get and the humans are working as hard as they can before school starts back up next month. Progress has been made on the foundation to the tasting room and the vines are growing strong!

Grapes of Lushness! July 2018
The grapes are thriving under the sunny East Texas sky! We won’t have a harvest this year as year one is for trunk development, but we are well on our way to having a second year harvest.
